Bishop Chess Academy

Bishop Chess Academy strives to give individuals who are willing to get better at chess, a chance to make them the best and to make them reach their goals. They offer monthly tournaments connected to the chess federation of Canada to create new talents and give opportunities for others to level up their game. They also offer in-person and online chess classes to develop individuals skills and goals.

Ligue d’echec d’Ottawa/Ottawa Chess Club

I am starting a brand new club that will play on Wednesday nights, starting Aug 24 at around 9PM, at the Highlander pub, corner of Williams and Rideau. Phone number is 613-523-7056.

RA Chess Club

The Club schedules about 95 sessions at the RA Centre  throughout the season (September – August). On Thursday evenings, 7:00 p.m. – midnight(games start at 7:30, in the Outaouais Room) the Club holds a series of rated tournaments, most with regular time controls. The Club is also open on Sunday afternoons,  1–4 p.m. (usually in Outaouais Room, sometimes elsewhere, check at Info Desk) from September to May.  Sundays feature speed chess and “active” chess. Members who choose not to play in a scheduled event may play casual chess at any time.
